While in the area for a few days, this pub was recommended. The food on the 2 nights we were there was delicious. There is a special 2 course on offer for £12.95, which had plenty of choice. The main menu had a wide variety of food also. The landlord and landlady mentioned that they had taken over 8 weeks ago. They are doing a great job. The food was a very high standard and very reasonably priced as were the drinks. It seems to have very good local support also. Would highly recommend it!

Quick Lunchtime stop Stopped by for a quick lunch and a pint. The food was really well prepared and very nice. I was a little disappointed with the taste of the beer (London Glory). Seems to be under new management and going through a bit of a transition.
