Homemade winter vegetable soup

Freshly made daily, and served with a rustic part baguette

Asparagus

Griddled, topped with a poached egg, and served with spinach in a creamy Hollandaise sauce

Prawn cocktail

Flavoursome prawns served with Marie Rose sauce, paprika, crisp salad, and buttered granary bread

Homemade smoked salmon & dill fishcake

Topped with a poached egg, and served with a creamy spinach sauce and lemon

Ardennes liver pate

Rich pate served with crisp salad, toast, and caramelised red onion chutney

 

MAIN DISHES

Roast turkey

Served with roast potatoes, bacon wrapped chipolata sausages, sage & onion stuffing, blanched winter vegetables, gravy, and cranberry sauce

Slow cooked minted lamb pudding

Light suet pudding, served with roast potatoes, blanched winter vegetables, gravy, and mint sauce

Homemade chicken schnitzel

Breast fillet grilled in lemon and garlic, coated in breadcrumbs and baked. Served with crushed herb potatoes, and blanched winter vegetables

Sea bass fillet

Served with crushed herb potatoes, in a cherry tomato and garlic butter sauce

Homemade vegetable wellington

Squash, mushrooms, pine nuts, sultanas and mixed herbs baked in puff pastry, and served with roast potatoes, blanched winter vegetables, and vegetable gravy
