Homemade ‘winter warmer’ soup

Freshly made daily with parsnips, garlic, and blue cheese,
and served with a freshly baked bread roll

Wild mushrooms
Pan fried in a Stilton cheese sauce and served on granary toast

Prawn cocktail
Flavoursome Greenland prawns served with Marie Rose sauce, paprika, red onion, Iceberg lettuce, lemon, and buttered granary bread

Homemade Scottish salmon & dill fishcakes
Pan fried and served with rocket and sweet chilli mayonnaise

Homemade festive meat slices
Made with sausage meat, mature Cheddar cheese, and cranberries in puff pastry, and served with rocket and apple puree


Roast turkey
Served with bacon wrapped chipolata sausages, sage & onion stuffing, roasted potatoes, carrots, and parsnips, swede mash, red cabbage, fine green beans, sprouts, Yorkshire pudding, and gravy

Homemade steak pie
Slow-cooked, and served with Dauphinoise potatoes, swede mash, red cabbage, fine green beans, and sprouts in a beef and red wine dripping

Baked salmon fillet
Topped with a herb crust, and served with Hasselback potatoes, asparagus, green beans, and cherry tomatoes in a creamy white wine and lemon sauce

Homemade vegetarian shortcrust tart
Made with mushrooms, chestnuts, cranberries, and Stilton cheese, and served with roasted potatoes and carrots, creamy green cabbage, fine green beans, sprouts, and vegetarian gravy

Stuffed aubergine
Served with sautéed sweet potatoes and a warm roasted courgette and pepper salad


Christmas pudding
Served hot with your choice of brandy sauce, ice cream, cream, or custard

Homemade brioche bread pudding
Served hot with bourbon caramel sauce and ice cream

Sloe gin, mincemeat & clotted cream tart
Rich tart with an almond crumble topping and served with ice cream

Homemade chocolate brownie
Served hot with hot chocolate sauce, fresh cranberries, and ice cream

Sherry trifle cheesecake
Light cheesecake, served with a raspberry coulis and your choice of cream or ice cream
